"Stop and smell the flowers"
Sydney's journey is a testament to the power of pausing, reflecting, and truly embracing the beauty of life's details—an ethos that aligns with her mantra, "Stop and smell the flowers." With a deep appreciation for the arts, Sydney has honed a unique ability to transform any concept or idea into a captivating artwork, whether through graphic design or marketing. This thoughtful approach, inspired by the idea of taking time to appreciate the world around her, has allowed her to create marketing strategies that resonate on a deeper level.

Her commitment to using creativity to fuel meaningful change has led her to work on global initiatives, including pitching ideas to Google on ending racism and empowering women to become their own bosses. But Sydney's approach is always one of intentionality and reflection, taking the time to understand the nuances of the issues at hand—whether it’s the challenges women face in the workplace or the barriers of racial discrimination.

Armed with new skills from her art management degree, Sydney aspires to bridge the worlds of art and business through innovative projects that don't rush to the finish line, but take time to appreciate the full journey. Like the flowers, her work grows slowly but surely, each step building toward something greater. In marketing, this means creating campaigns that aren’t just quick fixes, but lasting connections—ones that make customers feel seen and heard, and create a positive impact on both people and the world.
For Sydney, the mantra “Stop and smell the flowers” is a reminder to take the time to cultivate ideas thoughtfully, to nurture creativity, and to lead with empathy and vision—ensuring that every project she touches is not just a task to be completed, but a meaningful work of art that has the power to change the world.
